چکیده
Abstract Catalytic valorization of raw glycerol derived from biodiesel into high-value chemicals has attracted great attention. Here, we report chemoenzymatic cascade reactions that convert to lactic acid and glycolic acid. In the enzymatic step, a coenzyme recycling system was developed 1,3-dihydroxyacetone (DHA) with yield 92.3% in potassium phosphate buffer (300 mM, pH 7.1) containing 100 mM glycerol, 2 NAD + , 242 U/mL dehydrogenase-GldA NADH oxidase-SpNox K184R at 30 °C. Subsequently, NaOH or NaClO catalyzes formation DHA. The high (72.3%) (78.2%) verify benefit approaches. Graphical

Designation of highly efficient catalysts for one pot conversion of glycerol to lactic acid
Production of lactic acid from glycerol is a cascade catalytic procedure using multifunctional catalysts combined with oxidative and acidic catalytic sites. Therefore, a series of silver-exchanged phosphomolybdic acid catalysts (AgxH3-xPMo12O40, x = 1 ~ 3, abbreviated as AgxPMo) was designed and applied in glycerol oxidation with O2 as an oxidant to produce lactic acid (LA) without adding any b...
متن کاملSelective conversion of glycerol to lactic acid with iron pincer precatalysts.
A family of iron complexes of PNP pincer ligands are active catalysts for the conversion of glycerol to lactic acid with high activity and selectivity. These complexes also catalyse transfer hydrogenation reactions using glycerol as the hydrogen source.

Colorectal cancer is the fourth most frequently diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death. About 96,830 new cases of colon cancer and approximately 40,000 cases of rectal cancer will occur and 50,310 people will die of colon and rectal cancer combined[1]. The long term survival rate of colon cancer patients treated by conventional modalities such as surgery, radiation, and c...
متن کاملlactic/glycolic acid) nanoparticles encapsulating betamethasone sodium phosphate
Objective: To examine the therapeutic activity of hydrophilic glucocorticoid encapsulated in PLGA nanoparticles, which have shown slow release and are targeted to inflamed joints after intravenous administration, in experimental arthritis models. Methods: Betamethasone sodium phosphate (BSP) encapsulated in PLGA nanoparticles with a size of 100–200 nm (PLGA-nanosteroid) was prepared using a mod...
متن کاملProducts of the oxidation of glycolic acid and L-lactic acid by enzymes from tobacco leaves.
An enzyme catalyzing the oxidation of I-cr-hydroxymonocarboxylic acids has been reported earlier (1). It oxidizes glycolic acid (optimum pH range 7.8 to 8.6) about three times as rapidly as Z-lactic acid (optimum pH 7.6). The enzyme is of particular interest because of its high activity, its wide distribution among green plants, its absence from etiolated plants, its unusually low energy of act...
